I, Eugene Johnson, wish to express that this was the best show I have ever helped out in...EVER! THE BEST! I have been producing radio for some 15 years, and Shusli and Redwillow are the easiest and best partners I have ever worked with. Iopkepa and Inette make the best guests and we covered everything from spirituality to genocide. The chant and IZ composition Shusli combined for the intro music to the show was so powerful that I cried when I first heard it at home, and Inette cried when she was listening to it in the studio.
I want to thank the Grandmothers, Iokepa and Inette, Shusli and Redwillow, Shusli's son and his Ukele, Emily Young, KBOO, and all the KBOO listeners for the best radio experience of my life.
I especially wish to thank John Talley, who, for 33 years, produced the radio program "Indian World" for KBOO. Thanks John for coming down and being a great presence on this earth.
