We have troops of goats that go through our neighborhood in Kimberley devouring anything green in sight. No one knows where they come from or who may 'own' them but a lot of folks blame their presence on the black government. It seems that in the days of apartheid goats were not allowed to just roam and chomp at will :)My mom solved her goat problem years ago even before they handed us our contrived freedom. She found the balance of nature and nurtured the cacti that are indigenous to the semi-arid Northern Cape.Goats don't eat cacti ... they eat the well fed and watered lawns of those who ignore our environmental balance. In this sense, goats can be eco-warriors too.Peace brother Eugene!
